Role: Control Systems / ASW Engineer
Type: Contract
Location: Remote / Occasional Travel to Midlands Site
Rate: £350 – £450 per day dependant on experience

Essential Skills: Controls systems experience (ideally motor, engine, transmission or similar); Requirements definition experience; Knowledge of ANSI C code; CAN comms networks experience; Previous experience in software development within automotive or motorsport (OEM or Tier1 considered)

One of our automotive / motorsport engineering clients are in need of a Control Systems Engineer to join them on a 6-month contract basis. 

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
– Development of application software
– Development of real-time embedded control software
– Production of SW requirements specs and test plans
– Implement embedded software in C
– Contribute to development of interfaces between BSW & ASW

The successful Control Systems Engineer will need:
– Controls systems experience including design, implementation and testing control algorithms (ideally motor, engine, transmission or similar controllers)
– Requirements definition experience
– Knowledge of ANSI C code
– CAN comms networks experience
– Previous experience in software development within automotive or motorsport (OEM or Tier1 considered)
