• Develop applications that effectively accomplish client objectives and user needs
• When identified and requested, review and revise code for applications
• Analyse and edit existing computer applications to improve functionality
• Remodel and adapt applications as needed to optimize performance
• Install applications and confirm proper communication between equipment and systems
• Identify specific client needs and preferences related to application
• Review and test applications to ensure they are error and bug free
• Act as a technical advisor
• Maintain applications databases

Systems Engineer Job Roles and Responsibilities
• Ability to manage and monitor all installed iBMS systems and infrastructure
• Oversight of infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Ability to see potential issues and proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure accessibility
• Monitor and test performance of applications, foreseeing potential problems and identifying possible solutions
• Ability to work with client team to implement fixes identified.
• Continual maintenance of security, including backup and recovery strategies
• Competency in writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce downtime owing to required shift-technician intervention
• Contribute to all reasonable tasks and requests of Systems Manager
