Are you interested in working with a global, leading Aerospace company? We are working with Thales.
From day one, you will play a pivotal role within the Software team working across a range of technology based solutions for Civil and Military customers in the areas of airborne voice and data communication.
What you’ll be doing
As Software Architect in an integrated project team, you will be technically responsible for the software architecture and it’s consistency with the solution/system architecture. You will be working with architects from a range of engineering disciplinaries and Thales UK software wider community, gaining exposure to a broad range of Thales products.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent at problem decomposition and thinking at higher levels
- Experience of creating software architectures to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience of modelling complex software systems e.g. UML Design
- Experience of requirements capture e.g. DOORS
- ANSI C, C++ experience
- Knowledge of aircraft based communication systems
- Avionics development experience, including DO-178C, DO-330 and DO-332
- Knowledge of Software Lifecycles
- Use of Jenkins and Bamboo
