Rate – Circa £30.00 per hour Umbrella Company OR PAYE equivalent
Hours – Typically 37 Hours Per Week
Duration – 12 Months +
Determination – Inside IR35

Security – UK BPSS Security Clearance (Basic)

Description:

Reporting to the HR Director/Senior Business Partner, manages delivery of support and expertise to a discreet population (business area or function, within a BU). Manages relationships with Heads of business and line managers. Able to operate independently and may have several projects underway at any one time.
This crucial role provides support on all day to day matters. Works shoulder to shoulder with the business providing a quality service.

The Role:
• Oversees a Line of Business area.

• Provides Operational guidance on all day to day matters.

• Coaches and challenge Leadership whilst developing relationships.

• Create HR value with insight for Line Management through data and trends.

• Ensuring Line Management is aware of all HR initiatives.

• Develop Trade Union relationships.

• Role model for Babcock Purpose and Principles.

• Experience of leading an HR conversation across a large, diverse and complex organisation, delivering all aspects of Business Partnering.

• Experience working as part of a business and evidence of testing and challenging the status quo.

• Evidence of Employee and Industrial Relations success.

• Commercially astute, with experience working in a fast paced multi-site environment.

• A sound understanding of Employment Law, combined with experience in local change management.

• Awareness of the intricacies of delivering within a unionised environment.
