The current team which is embedded within the Engineering department, has one full stack senior developer. The successful candidate will expand the team to develop reports and tools to help Engineering manage their data.

You will work closely with many senior technical leads and managers as well as designers and Naval architects within the engineering and management teams to analyse their requirements.

You will help to devise software solutions mainly within a REACT, NODE.js Web Application that is well established as a medium to consolidate, report and deliver data to many sectors within the business and an exponentially growing user base.

The candidate would have 5+ years’ experience developing web, server and database applications and at least 2 years using NODE.js and REACT. 

The position is for a full stack developer, although candidates fitting with some certain key skills will be considered. The candidate will be providing software development services and related support to the extensive Engineering and design teams. The candidate will engage closely with the engineers and designers to design and build bespoke in-house developed Web Applications that helps the engineering department to manage data from ship centric CAD software
