Junior/Midlevel – Electronic Design Engineer, Walsall, up to £35,000

We have a great opportunity for a junior to midlevel Electronic Design Engineer to work for an industry leader in emergency lighting and energy manufacturing.

The role of Design Engineer will be exposed to many elements of Product Design process and will assist in the daily operation. Duties will include, but not limited to the following tasks:

This is what you’ll be doing

• Development and innovation for product electronic designs and prototyping
• PCB design and layout and fault fin
• Producing and testing prototype
• Develop test solutions to problems to ensure product qualit
• Qualification, test, and requirements management aspects of physical design, including EMC and radio performance etc

Your skill set will include elements of the following

• Analogue Electronic Hardware Design
• PCB layout (Altium or similar)
• Microcontroller development – ARM/PIC/STM or other

Desirable skills

• Self-motivated to work with minimal supervisio
• Understanding of low power, power supplie
• Embedded firmware skills in 
• A knowledge of compliance – CE, FCC etc
