Senior Firmware Engineer required to join a company who design and manufacture high level consumer goods. The Swansea based business has grown exponentially over recent years continuing to thrive even through the Covid period selling over 1 million units in the last 12 months. This is a key hire for the business and has expected career progression over the next couple years as the company continues to expand.

Due to the importance of this Embedded Software Engineer role the hiring manager would prefer somebody who has experience in product development or working on high reliability applications. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously bringing your own ideas to the table whilst having ownership of your own projects and products.

Required / expected skills

There is some flexibility in these requirements for the right candidate who can demonstrate the drive and talent to be able to grow to fulfil the ideal required experience for this Embedded Software Engineer role.

Ideal (flexible):

• Embedded Systems 
• C/C++
• Product Development
• MISRA
• Coding and debugging of ST ARM Cortex M0 processors
• RS232 / USB HID etc
• SQL
• Knowledge of C# Visual Studio
• Developing web-based tools
